We've often wondered if two-seaters will have much lifespan in the autonomous age. Every fully autonomous concept cabin seems to focus either on an intimate four-person+ vis-a-vis layout or a larger ride share-friendly mini-bus configuration. With the ghost in the machine taking care of all the driving, the exhilarating handling advantages of the coupe are mostly nullified, so maybe the two-door two-seater will ultimately become a forgotten dinosaur.

Conform datelor comunicate de catre DRPCIV (Directia Regim Per mise de Conducere si Inmatriculare a Vehiculelor), in luna decembrie 2021 au fost inmatriculate in Romania 14.111 autovehicule noi (autoturisme si vehicule comercia/e, autocare si speciale), cu 23,0% mai putine decat in luna similara a lui ·2020.

Dintre acestea, 11.858 au fost autoturisme, a caror scadere fata de
I tuna decembrie 2020 (cand au fost inmatriculate 15.974 unitat,), este de
25,8%.

Top-ul 5 pe marci in decembrie:

Dacia 4.570 unitati,

Hyundai 1.090i unitati,

Renault 977 unitati,

Toyota 717 unitati si

Skoda 627 unitati.

Appointments in the Alpine Management Committee

As of January 1^st, 2022, David GENDRY is appointed Vice President Communication Alpine. He will join the Alpine Management Committee under the guidance of Laurent ROSSI, Chief Executive Officer of Alpine. He will also report to Christian STEIN, Vice President of Brands Communication at Renault Group. As of January 1^st, 2022, Olivier CAMUS is appointed Alpine Marketing-Communication Director, replacing David GENDRY. He reports to Cédric JOURNEL, Alpine Sales & Marketing Vice President. David Gendry's missions will be to deploy the global communication strategy for the Alpine brand in line with the strategic plan presented in January 2021. In particular, he will have to steer the deployment of communication activities through a 100% electric product plan. David Gendry's role will also be to give a strong and coherent identity to the whole of Alpine's competition programme, with Formula 1 as the main platform, which is essential for the development of the Alpine brand's reputation and image on a global scale. Born in 1976, David GENDRY holds a Master's degree in Business and Tax Law from the University of Aix en Provence. In 2000, he began his career as a business lawyer with the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group. In 2003, he joined the Sales department and was appointed Marketing and Communication Director of Peugeot Sport. In 2009, he became Sales and Marketing Director of Peugeot in the Czech Republic. In 2012, David GENDRY joined Volkswagen Group France as Marketing Director for Seat France. In 2016, he was appointed Global Digital Director for Seat in Spain. In 2018, he was assigned to China as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for one of the Volkswagen Group's joint ventures. Since 2020, David GENDRY has been Managing Director of the Seat and Cupra brands in Portugal. David GENDRY was appointed Alpine Marketing and Communication Director on 19 April 2021. **

	He follows Werner Eichhorn, who ends his successful automotive career

	Audi CEO Markus Duesmann: “A key role in implementing our electrification strategy for China”

Audi is making a new appointment to its central leadership function for the Chinese market: Jürgen Unser will take over management of AUDI AG’s China operations in the role of President of Audi China from 1 January 2022. In this function he succeeds Werner Eichhorn, who enters retirement.

“In the last two years we have further expanded our presence in China. With Jürgen Unser we now want to focus on the aim of helping to shape the mobility of the future in China and implementing our electrification strategy for AUDI AG’s biggest market in cooperation with our Chinese partners,” comments Markus Duesmann, CEO of AUDI AG. “In Jürgen Unser we are handing over direction of our operative business in China to an expert with Chinese experience who will have a key role in implementing our future strategy for China.”
