.Simona Halep dusted herself off after a first set blowout, found her game again and eventually ran away with it against Agnieszka Radwanska in the quarterfinals of the Rogers Cup.
The No.6-seeded Radwanska was in complete control early on - with her pinpoint groundstrokes hitting their mark and her trick shots in full flow, she reeled off the first seven games to lead, 6-0, 1-0.

Horia Tecau intercepts at the net to bring up three Championship points and the Romanian is so pleased he wheels away in delight with his hands in the air. A big serve from Jean-Julien Rojer and that's the victory.
Tecau throws away his racket and drops to his knees in relief before hugging it out with his partner Rojer. Big celebrations for the duo as they win their first Grand Slam doubles title with a 7-6(5), 6-4, 6-4 win against Jamie Murray and John Peers.

Simona Halep became the first player into the semifinals of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix after a hard-fought win over Sara Errani on Friday afternoon.
In a match where both players struggled to hold onto their serve, it was Halep that maintained her composure at the death, adding the coup de grâce to her 6-4, 6-4 triumph, skipping around her backhand to uncork one final return winner.
Halep went into the contest with a WTA-leading 25 wins to her name in 2015 and she made a bright start in pursuit of number 26, threading a backhand down the line for a 2-0 lead.
Errani, though, loves nothing more than a dogfight and was soon dragging Halep into the trenches. Yet despite breaking the Romanian's serve four times in the opening set, her failure to hold onto her own proved costly.

Astazi , in jurul orei 15, a avut loc tragerea la sorti a turneului ATP 250 , de la Bucuresti , BRD Nastase Tiriac Trophy.
Pe langa jucatorii confirmati , in ultimul moment au primit un wild card si sarbul Janko Tipsarevic , ce vine dupa o pauza indelungata cauzata de o accidentare , fost numar 8 mondial , dar si Gael Monfils , jucator aflat din nou pe val . Francezul a reusit in aceasta saptamana la Monte-Carlo sa-l invinga pe Roger Federer ,fiind inca in cursa pentru trofeul monegasc. Celalalt wildcard a fost primit de Marius Copil.
- Interesant este faptul ca desi Victor Hanescu avea de gand sa participe la Bucuresti , ca in fiecare an , organizatorii nu au mai dorit sa-i ofere un wildcard , astfel Victor a plecat la Barcelona sa joace in calificarile ATP 500 , ale turneului catalan.
Cele mai interesante meciuri de la Arenele BNR ale primei runde vor fi : Marius Copil vs Mikhail Youzhny ,Marcos Baghdatis vs Steve Darcis, si Viktor Troicki vs Daniel Gimeno-Traver.
