ISA to Run First-Ever U-18 World Championship for
Boys and Girls in SUP Racing

La Jolla, California, June 28, 2018 - The International Surfing Association (ISA) has today announced that Wanning, Chinawill host the 2018 ISA World StandUp Paddle (SUP) and Paddleboard Championship from November 23 - December 2.
Wanning, home to the renowned point break of Riyue Bay, has played host to numerous ISA Global Events since 2012 and most recently hosted a successful edition of the ISA World Longboard Surfing Championship in January of this year.

The European Combat Wrestling Championship 2018 will be held in Bucharest, on September 15th. The location for the competition is the fighting hall within the sport high school „Mircea Eliade", at the following address: Splaiul Independenţei St., No. 315-317, Sector 6, Bucharest.

Federations news for May
The International Canoe Federation (ICF) continues to expand its portfolio of disciplines. It has just signed an agreement with the World Rafting Federation to jointly promote future activities, with a view to rafting being included in future multi-sport events.
Several ICF disciplines have appeared at The World Games; dragon-boat racing and canoe marathon have in the past been included as invitational sports. Canoe Polo, a game of skill and speed similar to water polo, has become a popular addition to the programme since it was introduced to The World Games in Duisburg in 2005.

La Jolla, California, June 4, 2018 - The International Surfing Association (ISA) has today announced that the 2018 edition of the Stance ISA World Adaptive Surfing Championship will return to La Jolla, California, USA.
The fourth edition of the event will take place at La Jolla Shores beach from December 12-16, welcoming more than 25 of the world's best National Para-Surfing Teams.
The 2018 edition of the event will also mark the fourth consecutive year that Stance has played a key support role. Joining the World Championship initially as a Presenting Sponsor in 2015, Stance has since led as the Title Sponsor of the event since 2016, solidifying their brand's integral and historic role in the growth and development of Adaptive Surfing worldwide.
In 2017, the Stance ISA World Adaptive Surfing Championship made history, as a record-breaking 109 athletes united in La Jolla, California to represent their 26 respective nations and compete for Gold in the Paralympic-style, team-based event. The event was the first to take place after the ISA received official recognition from the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and was a key milestone in the ISA's ambitions to see Para-Surfing included in future editions of the Paralympic Games.
