"Viitoarea navă spațială XRISM (X-ray Imaging and Spectroscopy Mission, pronunțat „crism”) va studia cele mai fierbinți regiuni ale universului, cele mai mari structuri și obiecte cu cea mai puternică gravitație.
Condus de JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), XRISM va observa aceste extreme cosmice folosind spectroscopie, studiul modului în care lumina și materia interacționează.
În acest explicator, producătorul video Sophia Roberts de la Centrul de zbor spațial Goddard al NASA ne prezintă modul în care înțelegerea spectroscopiei ne aprofundează cunoștințele despre univers.

Grass has got humanity wrapped around its little finger. We carried our favorite grasses with us from the savannahs of Africa as we spread across the world, and even tens of thousands of years later, we're so desperate to be among it that a house doesn't feel like a home for many folk without patches of grass around it.
Now look, I like a bit of greenery as much as the next fella, but I'm sure I don't have to tell you that grass is a pain in the butt. If you find yourself responsible for some grass, you're required to submit yourself to a fortnightly lawn care ritual, because some neighbors will get real crotchedy if they feel your grass is receiving sub-standard care. No, really, some people get very fired up about this.

Ever since the 1930s when the term Nylon was used to describe fibers made from two polyamides, the material has steadily worked its way into our lives in a myriad of ways. It's light but strong, making it an ideal candidate for everything from engine components and machine parts to windbreakers, rope, and even artificial muscles. But nylon production simply isn't great for the environment.
